Injecting with Sculptra

Sculptra ® Aesthetic (poly-L-lactic acid) is a long-lasting, non-dissolvable dermal filler that stimulates and tightens skin. Sculptra is indicated for the correction of shallow to deep nasolabial folds and other facial wrinkles. Sculptra is the only FDA approved collagen stimulator approved to diminish facial wrinkles and restore deep underlying structures of the skin for up to 25 months.

PREREQUISITE

This class is designed for medical professionals (RN, NP, PA, MD, DDS) holding an active and unrestricted license in MA having previously completed an introductory class in dermal filler and experience with 6-12 months of dermal filler injectables.

*Students are required to bring one model to class to practice learned skills.

GOALS

Upon completion of this course, students will have an increased knowledge of treatment protocols, safety, application and techniques for safe administration of combine Sculptra. Facial anatomy and product preparation will be a significant focus of this course as these are paramount to successfully injecting with Sculptra.
