This comprehensive 12-hour course prepares learners to understand the anatomy, treatment techniques, and assessment skill required to safely inject dermal fillers to achieve the outcomes sought by patients. 

The 4-hour didactic session taught by Dr. Joseph A. Russo, MD, a Harvard trained, board-certified Plastic Surgeon with more than 30 years of experience and a successful surgical practice outside of Boston, provides a comprehensive look at dermal fillers an emphasis on anatomy and safety.       


Introduction to Dermal Filler is designed for medical professionals (RN, NP, PA, MD, DDS) holding an active and unrestricted license in their field of practice. Completion of Introduction of Neurotoxin or an equivalent class or demonstration of comparable professional experience is required.


Upon completion of this course, participants are able to identify anatomical landmarks for safe injection of dermal fillers, become familiar with the array of hyaluronic acid (HA) and non-HA fillers available in the United States, learn techniques to optimize safety for mid-face and lip injections with dermal fillers, manage adverse events and practice basic techniques with a variety of HA fillers.

Reschedule Policy: Classes may be rescheduled without penalty up to 14 days before the registered class date. 

30 Day Cancellation Policy: For cancellations within 30 days of a scheduled class, a refund will be issued for the amount paid less a 10% cancellation fee. 

14 Day Cancellation Policy: For cancellations within 14 days of a scheduled class, a cancellation fee of 10% will be assessed and the remaining balance held as credit. No shows or early leave will result in an automatic forfeit of tuition for that class.
