The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of physicians, physician assistants, dentists, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses involved in the treatment of patients undergoing medical aesthetic injectable procedures.
Statement of Need/Program Overview
With aesthetic medical procedures on the rise, the continuation of new aesthetic products becoming available, and the request of clinicians, this program will address this need by teaching principles and techniques of neurotoxin injection.
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Explain the mechanism of action of a neuromodulator
- Identify muscles responsible for various facial lines
- Discuss concepts of patient evaluation and selection
- Explain facial anatomy and function as it relates to aesthetic procedures
- Discuss areas to avoid when injecting
- Explain common side effects, complications, and treatment
- Describe reconstitution of products and dosage in each treatment area
- Demonstrate proper injection technique in each treatment area

In order to receive credit, participants must be present for the entire class, achieve learning objectives, complete an activity evaluation and be able to answer case based question accurately. Participants must submit, the credit application and evaluation form, to the address/ fax number indicated. Statements of credit will be mailed within 4 to 6 weeks following the program.
Fee Information & Refund/Cancellation Policy
Course tuition is $1600.00.
Classes are subject to cancellation if enrollment is below prescribed minimums. Cancellation within 30 days: Refund will be issues for amount paid less $250.00 cancellation fee. Cancellation within 14 days: A cancellation fee of $250 will be assessed and the balance held as credit.
